![]() before i posted this i fought the hag without knowing about the cauldron and got destroyed. Doing one before the other won't make you any more prepared for your first time fighting a new boss. My thought process is if you're going to party wipe because you didn't know what to expect, you should get it over with ASAP so you don't become too attached to the characters you lose. Without spoiling anything both the Hag and the Swine require either a well formed party or an understanding of a specific game mechanic while the Necromancer fight is fairly staight forward and the mechanic becomes obvious before it can screw you over. I found it very enjoyable and challenging. Its HP pool is tiny, but he hits very hard. ![]() In between waves, heroes will have a chance to use. Three new repeatable quests: a novice introduction, a veteran boss-kill, and an endless darkest-level wave-based combat experience. It was released for PC on June 19 2018, and was released for Consoles on October 11 2018. The boss is pretty much only a damage race. The Color of Madness is the third DLC for Darkest Dungeon. DoTs help massively to pierce his block generation. Versatile damage dealers like highwayman and grave robber are preferred.
